Our decision was to get hold of this iron mothers and start a stud-farm which had already gone more than 200 years. We acquired at auction mothers that were made in the JEREZ MILITARY STUD and we brought mares like: DESPEDIDA II, GESA, MELILLITA, OEA PLETINA, REJA, REMONTA, REDADA, SECCIÓN, TENENCIA... and others that we acquired from private individuals always with the same iron. We found a very simple explanation: The military bred these exemplars for their own consumption and their needs were mainly: - Rustic animals for economy questions and management.
