Our beginning as breeders begins in 1999. Staring exemplars and Stud-farms and looking for a type of horse, this in our limited knowledge was to be the PRE horse. We conclude that it should meet: RACIAL, NOBILITY AND FUNCTIONALITY.

In the large majority of ancient and prestigious Stud-farms had a concordant note: Origin of the Military Stud.
And it raises a question to us: Why do almost all the major Stud-farms have introduced stallions of this Stud?
We found a very simple explanation: The military people raised these exemplars for their own consumption and their needs were mainly:
- Rustic animals for economic questions and management.
- Noble and easy to incorporate as soon as possible to their mounted units where soldiers, generally, were neophytes and needed “given up” animals  and therefore “mountable”.
- And finally, they needed resistant animals to withstand long journeys of travel with all the baggage “on their backs”. And we concluded that this was what the Stud-farms generally were looking for when they “intrude” the Military Stud on their breeding lines.

We are aware that the Purebred Spanish Horse: IDEAL, only exists in every breeder mind and the gratifying of this hobby of breeding is to get as close as possible to it.
